We are approaching a period of rapid technological advancement fueled by artificial inteligence.

While this technology holds promise for great things, new technology does not come without consequences...

Proverbs 4:19

This website is not about stopping progress...

The goal is to anticipate consequences and take actions to avoid them.

To be proactive, not reactive with technology.

That begins with making sure our tech leaders have the right priorities.

Unfortunately, money gets in the way...

Our childrens future is not prioritized.

Shortsighted decisions benefit investors, but at what cost?

We are heading into uncharted waters with artificial intelligence.

We must consider the long-term consequences of tech decisions.

Where are those decisions taking us?

The solution is to transform the tech world at its core...

Ethics, morals, and the well-being of children needs to be at the core of all tech ideas, designs, and decisions.

There needs to be a simple way to identify and scrap bad ideas.

That concept is BABY BLUE

Take the BABY BLUE TEST

If an idea doesn't pass the BABY BLUE TEST then the idea should be scrapped!

This will lead to better decision making when it comes to artificial intelligence and a better outcome for our kids!

Tech companies should reflect on products they've already created...

Every tech idea should require a written contingency plan with actionable steps to be taken if something goes wrong. I say this with a caveat... The contingency plan cannot be used to excuse bad ideas that don't pass the Baby Blue Test. When there are unanswered questions about an idea there will be temptation to say, don't worry... we have this contingency plan. That kind of attitude is not Baby Blue. The idea should be so good that the contingency plan will never be needed. The contingency plan would also need to be reviewed and updated periodically. A mandatory contingency plan will require designers to think more critically about what they are creating and will serve as a tool to forsee consequences and to avoid them. Last but not least, the focus should be on building products and services that pass the Baby Blue Test, not on creating contingency plans for bad ideas that should be scrapped.

We must wake up to the significance of the times we are living in.

New technology is about to change everything in ways we've yet to realize.

The clumsy robots with jerky movements are a thing of the past... These machines will soon be hard to distinguish from their human counterparts. A.I. language models are already difficult to distinguish from human speech. Bio-mechanical integration is no longer sci-fi. We are approaching a time where Neuralink type devices will become common place requiring each and every one of us to face the moral dilemma of whether or not to "get chipped".

Some of us can still remember what life was like before all of our modern distractions...

This is a pivotal moment in time.

Our kids are counting on us to take action to preserve everything we love and value about life so all is not lost in our their digital future.

Social movements bring about change

The Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and 1960s led to the end of racial segregation and discrimination against African Americans. It resulted in the passing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and was effective in changing cultural attitudes throughout the United States.

The Boston Tea Party was a pivotal moment in American history that triggered the enactment of the Intolerable Acts, ultimately paving the way for the American Revolution and the colonists' liberation from British rule.

We once again find ourselves at a pivotal moment in time.

We must rise to the occasion!

THE VISION

A BRIGHT FUTURE FOR OUR CHILDREN, THEIR CHILDREN, AND THEIR CHILDREN

It will be written in history books 5, 10, 15+ years from now that 2025 was the year the people took their future back!

United around concepts of innocence, communities organized forming the largest and most enduring social movement in world history.

House by house, city by city, town by town, individuals found creative ways to decorate with baby blue showing their support for technology that respects and protects the user, client, customer and children. 

The social movement was effective at redirecting the tech world in a variety of ways:

The social movement led to the formation of the first Baby Blue Luncheon which served as a starting point to shift attitudes among tech leaders worldwide. Its success led to the Luncheon becoming an annual event prized by those in the tech world and outsiders alike. 

The movement led to the formation of a vast consumer protection network comprised of tech specialists, attorneys, whistleblowers and served as a tech watchdog and proactive consumer assistance and protection program. 

It became a reliable source for straigtforward and truthful information, shining light on matters of public importance, evaporating disinformation and illuminating reputable, honest and fair information sources inspired by integrity and truth. 

In time, the universal enthusiasm for this movement created a market for "baby blue products and services". These were products and services designed to respect and protect the consumer. This new market was effective at for the first time, making it profitable for tech companies to build products designed in ways that the public wanted thus transforming product expectations throughout the tech world. The social movement resulted in a market-based solution which proved effective at achieving many objectives of the movements cause.

The movement turned the concept of a "user agreement" on its head. 

The advent of the "provider agreement" effectively flipped the script, putting the consumer in the driver’s seat. Unlike "user agreements", "provider agreements" were written to protect the consumer. Over a period of time, corporations began to see the benefit of signing onto the "provider agreement" which required corporations to adhere to notable top-down cultural changes throughout their organizations to meet "provider agreement" requirements. Corporations that signed onto the provider agreement and became "Baby Blue Certified" organizations were able to market this certification to the public thus garnering new customers seeking to do business with organizations that support and uphold Baby Blue Values. 

The movement sparked monumental levels of self-reflection throughout society propelling a vast cultural change throughout the tech world and beyond. 

People of all walks of life, inspired by a sense of personal duty, united to advocate for ethical technology designed with all necessary safeguards to protect the public, respect the privacy of individuals and to preserve the people’s rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

 The movement led to social gatherings throughout communities inspiring fresh ideas to combat the growing concerns with artificial intelligence and other new technologies.

The end result of the social movement was its effectiveness at uniting the public on critical issues regarding technology, building lasting bonds amongst individuals, invigorating humanity creating a positive moral shift amongst people around the globe.

The movement resulted in those in the tech industry taking a fresh look at products they were creating with a new emphasis on consumer well-being.

The larger impact of this social movement was awakening the public to what is most important in life and inspiring action to fight for it!

The cumulative efforts of the Baby Blue movement have led to humanity living harmonically with artificial intelligence.

In the words of the founder of the Baby Blue movement "we were able to sweep some dust off the narrow path and put up some Baby Blue signs to lead the way to that narrow gate". "I suggest they install a Baby Blue doorbell incase the gate closes".

I suggest you have your team develop a new "baby blue electric" paint for your Tesla’s! This paint might have some cool features to it, like shiny or something... but is BABY BLUE! Then the Tesla emblem should be made to light up with a bright white light and you can incorporate BABY BLUE in the interior as well, lined with BABY BLUE lights. The BABY BLUE TESLAS will hold special meaning for everyone. The purchase of a BABY BLUE TESLA can be a way for you to show your support for making the tech world a better place! A place that prioritizes the safety and well-being of the public to create a BRIGHTER future for our kids!

The expectation will be clear.

We want the tech world to focus on the well-being of the public.

When they go to work, it won't be just another day.

They will need to reflect on everything they do.

Attitudes will change, motivated by a sense of personal responsibility.

There will be a new sense of awareness.

Awareness of the ramifications of their actions and decisions. 

This will happen when enough of us show our support for this movement.

Imagine a tech world where the leadership prioritizes public safety, individual privacy, and the protection of everything we value about life. 

Imagine a tech world where employees hold leadership accountable to prioritize these values. 

We are going to make this happen with Baby Blue. 

Those in the tech world will need to ask themselves if what they are creating is Baby Blue?

Does it respect and protect the user?

Does it protect all that we value about life?

It's a simple question with a simple answer.

When someone has a bad idea, the others will just stare at them with crunched eyebrows, and they will know what that means... Their idea isn't Baby Blue.

It will go without saying.

Baby Blue will empower us to save our future without saying a word.

We need to act quickly...

The Problem

Tech companies are largely unregulated.

They create technology with little oversight, and we are the pawns.

Tech companies are focused on innovation and profit which side steps moral decision making. 

We have grown complacent

We sign user agreements without reading them. 

These agreements are written to protect the tech company, not you

Those harmed by technology have nowhere to turn and few options for recourse.

How can an individual stand up to a giant tech company?

They employ teams of well-funded attorneys and bureaucrats who are well versed, well paid, and on standby to shut down any efforts that might shine light on unjust practices. 

It's a lot easier to just keep scrolling than to confront a tech company about something we don't like.

Day in and day out, small problems go unaddressed as we become desensitized to things that should probably warrant outrage. 

We are bombarded with irrelevant, annoying, or creepily intrusive ads that we'd rather just skip.

Baby Blue can be the solution

Baby Blue is a social movement that will grow into a consumer protection organization and a central hub for consumer protection enthusiasts, whistle blowers, tech guru's and advocates for protecting everything we value about life. 

Baby Blue will function as a rudder so we can navigate through choppy seas and circumvent icebergs ahead. 

Baby Blue will empower everyday people with the resources necessary to make a difference. 

Baby Blue will create a market for "Baby Blue" products and services.

Products and services that respect and protect the user.

How will this work?

A small percentage of all technology-related transactions would go to this organization. This may be voluntary by corporations who opt to "Go Baby Blue" or could be implemented through legislation. The revenue generated would be used to support the Baby Blue movement, to form and maintain a consumer protection network, and to fund proactive efforts that guide the tech industry to build their products and services in ways that respect and protect the user and everything we value about life.   

We have a window of time where our tech leaders can make a difference. 

Artificial intelligence will change everything. It won't be long before changes occur so quickly that we will have no ability to do anything about changes we don't like. 

Let's not ignore the writing on the wall.

Baby Blue is what will unite us to change the culture in the tech world from one that is focused on innovation and profit to one that is focused on public safety and the preservation of everything we value about life.

The profit model side steps morals and basic human decency.

They get away with it because we are too consumed with our daily responsibilities and feel powerless to change any of it.

We have a window of time to influence the tech world.

Artificial intelligence is alive and kicking. It is what will enable "the machines" to design and create the technology for us. When technology creates itself, changes will occur at an ever-accelerating rate, and it will become more difficult for us to do anything about changes we don't like. That's why we need to act now. We can get out in front of this to ensure a brighter future for all of us. We want to see to it that technology preserves and protects every facet of life.

This can happen when tech companies design their products to be Baby Blue...

products that are innocent and free of corruption... like a newborn baby.

We want those in the tech industry to ask themselves if what they are creating is "Baby Blue?"

We want the tech world to build "Baby Blue" qualities into artificial intelligence and other forms of technology.

Tech companies are unlikely to implement a Baby Blue Culture on their own. 

They will only do it when it becomes beneficial for them to do so.

When we show corporations that we are moving our business to companies that "Go Baby Blue" they will get the message and implement a Baby Blue Culture or risk losing business to their competitors who do. 

Baby Blue is the catalyst that can make protecting the public profitable for businesses. 

We can make it beneficial for them by supporting businesses that

"Go Baby Blue"

These are businesses that implement a "Baby Blue Culture" throughout their organizations. 

We can inspire businesses to implement a Baby Blue Culture through a social movement. 

Baby Blue is a social movement where you show your support by finding your own noticeable but respectful ways to "Express Baby Blue". You can decorate your yard, your home, your vehicle or your desk at work with baby blue. You can wear baby blue things. You can get a baby blue case for your phone. You can swap out the copy paper at work with baby blue copy paper... only with your bosses’ permission of course!

Whatever you do it’s up to you!

When local businesses start to see Baby Blue everywhere they will run with it. Local businesses will want to cash in on business opportunities by supporting Baby Blue. 

Eventually the leaders in the tech world and other corporate leaders will begin to see the benefit of supporting Baby Blue. The movement will create a market for "Baby Blue" products and services. Products and services that respect and protect the user, client, customer.

THE COUPON FROM HELL

When the public starts to show its support for the Baby Blue movement, business's will be inclined to take advantage of it. They will want to use the color Baby Blue to attract customers and boost sales with no reflection and with no top down changes throughout their organizations to align with Baby Blue values. Here is a very minor example of a way that might occur. The marketing department of a large grocery chain might decide to use the color Baby Blue for their advertisements. They might send out coupons for 10% off your grocery bill. On the advertisement there might be four, 10% off coupons, each with tiny print showing the dates in which you can use each coupon. You cut them out and didn't read the fine print. You go through the checkout line having put some additional items in your grocery cart to best utilize the coupon. Upon checkout the person ringing up your groceries informs you that they cannot accept this coupon because it is for next week. The clerk has to deliver this bad news to you which is an unpleasant experience for them and you're frustrated because you were hoping to use the coupon. This is a simple illustration of a company not putting their marketing strategy to the Baby Blue Test. If they had considered the potential experiences that might occur for the customer, perhaps they would have ran the coupon ad differently. They used the color Baby Blue for the coupon when there were no Baby Blue values behind the creation of the ad in the first place.

We need business’s and institutions of all types and sizes to start applying the Baby Blue Test to everything they do. It will result in a better outcome for all! You will be surprised by the weight that will be lifted off people when they start walking through life with a Baby Blue mindset.

It's important that we get out in front of this to make sure tech companies do their part to ensure technology doesn't go rogue.

It won't be long before machines are everywhere, monitoring everything, and what will life be like when that happens?

Now is the time to influence tech leaders to steer technology in a direction that protects all that we love and value in life.

It appears that Boston Dynamics is trying to be a leader in developing safe technology. 

We need to wake up to the possibility that these machines could be reprogrammed to do harm. 

This reprogramming could be done by hackers, tech leaders with agendas, or technology could reprogram itself. This stuff is not sci-fi, we are at the precipice of these situations becoming reality. 

So… what can we do?

You can support the Baby Blue movement. 

We want tech leaders to create technology with the innocence of a baby...

We want tech leaders to implement a "Baby Blue Culture" throughout their organizations. 

We want the tech world to create products and services that

respect us and protect us. 

You can show your support for this movement by painting a rock with Baby Blue colored paint and place it on your front porch, in your yard, or on your desk at work. Somewhere that is noticeable and respectful. 

When people ask about the rock you can direct them to this website so they can learn about this and show their support too. 

When "Baby Blue" rocks start appearing everywhere it will visually communicate to tech leaders that we are paying attention now.

This can be the catalyst that awakens the conscious of the tech world to do what's right. 

Get your kids and paint some Baby Blue Rocks today. Give them to neighbors and tell them about this. Get them involved too!

Unfortunately, technology does not come without consequences...

We should probably get this movement going in full force while the tech world is still operated by PEOPLE whom have a conscious and a pulse!

Those who work in the tech industry will be instrumental in helping us to transform the tech world as we are going to be tugging at their heartstrings and nudging their conscious regarding tech issues, A.I. and where it is all headed.

When A.I. is completing all the necessary operations of the tech company, there will be nobody with a conscious to object to decisions made by the leaders who control it.

Plans are already in the works to replace software engineers with A.I.

The Social Dilemma

The below documentary was produced in 2020 and still serves as a valuable wake up call to those of us who have not concerned ourselves with where technolgy is heading. 

We love our kids and we want what's best for them. 

We have a responsibility to do what's necessary to create a bright future for our kids.

Operation Magic School Bus

Kids ride the bus to school. Kids ride the bus home.

180 days of school x 2 = 360 bus trips per year.

School buses have a mic

What if school bus drivers were to study an interesting fact to share with students on the bus the last 10 minutes of the bus trip to school and first 10 minutes of the bus trip home.

With the right mindset, this could be a lot of fun for the bus driver and the students!

Kids on the bus will garner 360 nuggets of information each year that they can use later in life!

School bus drivers have a mid-day gap while kids are in school. What a great opportunity to utilize that time for the benefit of kids!

There should be some leeway so bus drivers can pick subjects that they are knowledgeable about and excited to share!

This could probably be expanded to 2 facts per bus trip for a whopping total of 720 nuggts of information per year!

This would equate to a total of 9,360 nuggets of information K-12 grade!

Additonal cost to the annual school budget is zero dollars and zero cents.

A plan that makes sense!

Maybe the McDonald's® corporation can help make this idea a reality...

We have a lot to be thankful for...

Many years ago, caring individuals wrote, preserved and translated ancient texts such as the Bible to pass down to us. Whether you're a believer or not, these efforts have had a valuable impact on society that still lights our path today.
